How Do I Edit My Spam and Virus Filter Settings?
You are receiving email from Humboldt Internet that warns you that we
have quarantined spam or a virus. You receive these e-mails because you
are signed up for our spam and virus filter.
What do I do with these messages?
You can simply delete the messages.
How do I turn these messages off?
(1) Go to http://www.humboldt1.com/
(2) Follow the link: "Check Your Filtered Spam/Virus Mailbox"
(3) Enter your e-mail address and your spam and virus password.
If you don't know your password, follow
(A-E). Otherwise, continue to (4).
(A) Enter your e-mail address and guess
at the password.
(B) Click the "Login" button.
(C) On the next screen, click the "Forgot your password?"
link.
(D) On the following screen, click the "Submit" button.
(E) Login to your WebEmail. There should be a message there
containing a temporary spam and virus password.
(4) Click the "Login" button.
(5) Click the link "Virus Settings"
(6) In the "Notifications" section, change the drop-down menu to read
"Disable notification" by clicking the down arrow.
(7) Click the "Save" button.
(8) Click the "Logout" link in the upper right.
Congratulations! You will no longer receive those pesky messages!
