Building "The Majestic" in the Victorian Village of Ferndale
| Castle Rock's script called for an imposing Town Hall, sitting on a square adjacent to Main Street. |
| A two-story facade was built over the U.S. Bank building on the corner of Main and Ocean. Its parking lot was transformed into the grassy village square, complete with bandstand gazebo, statuary, and mature trees. | ||

Thank you for your patience.) |
"The Majestic" is filming in Ferndale 25 days. Businesses are open during the filming, although they've been renamed and their front windows are dedicated to the film. During the days they are actually filming on Main Street (rather than the fairgrounds or the cemetery) parking is reserved for prop cars of the period; take the free shuttle service from Berding Street, the Firemen's Pavilion parking lot, or anywhere you see a shuttle sign.
